The vineyards were planted in the 1960s by legendary Cognac producer Rémy Martin, before ownership passed to a group of Australian wine lovers. Today, Blue Pyrenees is a Five Red Star Winery (James Halliday Wine Companion), crafting a premium range of classic wines alongside newer, more experimental styles.
The brief
Blue Pyrenees needed to migrate their website and wine club to a new platform that could better support online sales and day-to-day operations.
They were looking for a setup that would integrate cleanly with marketing and logistics, give the team more control over inventory and content, and allow the wine club to grow and adapt over time. The existing structure had served them well, but it was starting to limit what was possible.
What we did
We worked closely with the Blue Pyrenees team to design and build a new website on Shopify, including a full migration of products, content, and customer data.
The wine club was rebuilt using Shopify’s Recharge subscription app, allowing memberships and recurring orders to be managed in one place. This gave the team clearer visibility across members and orders, while also allowing the club itself to be reshaped. Members can now mix and match wines and choose how often they receive deliveries, without adding complexity behind the scenes.
Throughout the project, the focus was on building something practical and reliable. A website the team can manage confidently, and a club structure that reflects how they sell their wine.
